Tom Enterline and Raeford Russell worked their way through college by building a variety of projects: small houses, decks, carports and gazebos. They remodeled kitchens, bathrooms and entire residences.
Upon completing their studies at Appalachian State University, they formally began Enterline & Russell Builders, Inc.
"We started out as carpentry sub-contractors, working for other contractors. We framed, sided and trimmed-out a variety of projects. We worked hard with a lot of attention to detail. Word got around. Customers soon wanted us to act as the contractors. Our work load kept increasing. We found we could keep some of the various trades busy on a full-time basis. Painters first, then masons and equipment operators. It was hard to find a good sheetrock crew, so we created one. Having the trades on our payroll helps us choose our employees and have better control over the quality and scheduling of the work.
We are proud of our crews. Our crew chiefs are our partners. Our mission is to provide sound, high quality structures. We strive to do so with efficient use of time and money."
Since 1983 Enterline & Russell has built and remodeled over 300,000 square feet of new construction. In this effort, we have managed nearly a billion dollars for our clients.
We thank you for your interest in our company.
